Vito is 28 months old.
Here’s a recap of our week! You may copy any of these for your own home school journey!
- Fish Montessori Puzzle. Vito loves puzzles. We identified the fins, eyes, tail and body of the fish.
- Fish matching activity. Matching different kinds of fish using a magnetic board and magnetic tape. Learn more about here on how I assembled them.
- See and Spell of the word Fish. Introducing Vito to words. A good start for teaching toddlers relationship between objects and words/phonics (spelling).
- Counting fish. We only counted up to three. The counting cards can be downloaded here.
- First encounter of fish. The first time they’ve touched and smelled a fish! My mom taught me how to clean a fish around 8years old. Back home we have fish EVERY SINGLE DAY and its funny that my kids haven’t even touched a single one.
- Fish Pin Poking Activity. A new activity that Vito loves! The little guy is actually concentrating when he was poking through the hole! More of this here.
- Fish crafts based on Hooray for Fish. Crafting is one of the activities that both of the boys can do at the same time. Through crafting we can do paint, glue, draw, learn colors and shapes, and cut all at the same time! Details of this activity here.
- Fish sorting activity. I highly recommend the Learning Resources Fish Counters, they’re so worth-it and beautiful! Comes with different varieties of fish, and can be used in many ways.
