He identified all the animals and finally got to name them out loud. You see, Vito doesn’t like Q&A and classroom type of activities. He’s reluctant to speak, but he knows the answer to the question. He will speak when he likes and feels like doing it… in his own time, not mine LOL. So imagine my surprise when he perfectly named these! You can watch his video here to see how we worked on this!

The animal pictures are provided as default material for your matching activity. I suggest that if you have animal figures like those from Safari Toobs or Schleich, better use them because they are perfect for our skin cover materials! And as you can see, these are bigger cards so the child can really see the details of the animals’ skin. My eldest used these cards as inspiration to draw patterns.
It seems that he’ll be doing this activity everyday for the next few days. He is so fascinated with the animal covers!
