Hello there!! Well here it is! According to the result of my "query" most of my readers wanted to have free Butterfly Cards... and as promised I am publishing it today together with the rest of my insect learning packs (available for purchase from my shop).
Now all you have to do is click the image below for the link. I am really hoping that you will like it. If you spot an error, feel free to send me a message or note and I will correct it ASAP. The book that we are reading inline with this study is Are You a Butterfly (Book Depository). I decided to give a little review of the books that we're using next week once we're done with this unit. The butterfly and insect figures that we are using are from Safari Ltd Insects TOOB and Safari Ltd Butterflies TOOB. For the card holder you can check this Cards Display Box from Amazon US.
Next week, we'll be looking into the world of Arthropods!
Remember our study of the Animal Kingdom? And the Mollusc (Snail)? We're exploring these animals one by one to help Mavi familiarize with the groups and learn which animals belong to each group, their differences etc.
So next, we'll have insects, then crustaceans...and so on.
Here are the materials we'll be using for our Insect Study. I have prepared them already ahead of time so I could save time and we might go back to the park to observe some insects in the pond or do a nature walk around our estate to look for bugs and ants. If you are interested, click the images below to view details of each material or click the links below.

Well, that's all for now. Have a lovely weekend!

DeleteI bet it's also available on any Montessori shop :)
Awesome!! Thank you! :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice materials and I love your posting. The books you are reading ("Are you a... "series) are some of the BEST available. My group has always really enjoyed the info and the subtle humor!
ReplyDeleteHi there! I found your lovely "parts of a butterfly" today and I was so thrilled. My class is dispersed and learning at home now (in coronavirus isolation), and I have one little lady who just hatched her own butterflies at home. She is just thrilled to be able to print your lovely cards for deeper learning. Thank you!
