Vito is 29 months old.
To start our Shape Unit this week, I want to share with you Vito’s current favourite learning material! This amazing product is from Learning Resources and both of my boys has been using the activity sheets for days!
This learning material (Learning Resources Bug Me Not) is similar to the Melissa and Doug Beginner Pattern Block except that it has more geometrical shapes, more activity sheets and the transparent shapes that comes with it is more attractive and colourful. Even Mavi, my 7year old loves using this set! It comes with 15 activity sheets that’s labeled according to difficulty. Of course Vito only works on the first few sheets but I’m suprised that he can figure out some of the shapes already.
My advice: prepare the sheets for the child to work on. If he’s younger like 2years old, separate the shapes that he’s going to use in a tub.
This is a great learning tool on other geometric shapes that you want your kids to explore and you can use the transparent shapes in light tables as well! I love learning materials that we can use in multiple ways!
