- Melissa and Doug Basic Pattern Set. Vito loves this! The puzzles are pretty basic so any kid around 2 years old can work on these puzzles independently. I gave this to Vito when he was familiar with the basic shapes. You can get this set from Amazon.
- DIY Shape Puzzle. I made this myself and you can learn about it here.
- Learning Resources Don’t Bug me. Newest learning material we have from Learning Resources and has been a favourite of both boys!
- Button Shape Sensory Tub. I try to include messy play and sensory tub to add more fun in our weekly themes. So far these kind of activities works best for kids in keeping them busy for a long time. This is also a perfect opportunity for them to hone their fine motor skills in scooping, spooning and pouring objects. The tub consists of black beans and jumbo craft buttons.
- Creating 2D and 3D Shapes using Geomag. Details here!
- Cutting Shape strips. Another homemade material, read here for details.
- Shape Prints. This turned out so beautiful! I suggest you use contrasting colours, like in our case, light coloured paints over dark cardstock.
- Mouse Shapes book. This is one classic and all time favourite book! You can get the book here for free delivery!
For our Shape Resist painting, read here for details.
