Vito is 29 months old.
This is one of the highlights of our Body Unit! I was more than excited to give this to Vito! Just look at his face on how much he’s enjoying this activity!
Now, to start with, this idea is mainly from Simply Learning. When I saw this, I ordered our internal organs right away (Safari Toob from Amazon) and dyed our waterbeads. The printable material used was also from Simply Learning. So while we wait for toob to arrive, Vito and I read Your Body book from Usborne. This book is well loved by the boys and Mavi was helping me discuss and present it to Vito!
Now, when the toobs arrived, I immeditely set up our materials. I invited Vito to play and explore our sensory tub and he didn’t hesitate at all! He kept on playing, touching, dipping the organs here and there, scooping the beads and kept on saying “red”.
These waterbeads are one of the best sensorial materials we own. They’re safe, and can be easily stored! Both of the boys love it!
He matched the organs whenever he would take a break from scooping the waterbeads. He finds some of the organs funny though.

Can you add a linky to the Simple Learning site you referenced? Google didn't find it. Great activity. We'll have to try that when we do "Us" week.
