Dinosaur Small World Play Tray

Here’s what a mother can  do to her dinosaur-obsessed kids. 

So I’ve been entertaining the boys for days now since Mavi’s at home recovering from his recent minor surgery.  To keep myself sane, I would setup small world play trays (like Australia, China, Polar Regions, Panda) because this is one of their favourite activities that they could play for hours (without fighting!).  So since we’re having Dinosaur Unit this week, I decided to have a dinosaur small world play!

It’s easy to set-up because I already have all the materials needed:

• Playmobil Stegasaurus Playset
• Playmobil Dimetrodon Playset
• Playmobil Triceratops Playset
• Safari Toob Dinosaurs
• Homemade Playdough Recipe
• Rocks (home decors)
• IKEA tray

Some details, you can see here a herd of two Apatosaurus and Stegosaurus  eating plants.  This is to show that these are herbivores.

The trees and other landscapes were from Playmobil Dinosaur sets.

I usually place this tray on top of our shelf.  Vito couldn’t reach it yet, so he would stand on a chair.
