Vito is 34 months old.
Apple is Vito’s favourite fruit. He had an amazing time exploring his favourite fruit last week, as we explored how the apples came to me, its parts and an instant apple counting (because he loves to count too!).
Here are some of the activities you can try with your kids for exploring apples:
Then he started to taste each part because he wanted to eat first before identifying the parts LOL. Here he’s trying the skin, and then moved to the flesh.
He also managed to match the parts of the apple to the ones in the book as we read along.
For the apple math counting, I cut-out the tree using a brown and green felt sheet and the red pompom serves as our apple. What we did here was toss the dice and place the right amount of “apple” in the apple tree using a craft tweezer. I made him use the chopstick trainer at first but he can’t control it yet so the tweezer was the plan B.
