I am so excited to share with you the fun preschool math activities I prepared for Vito! He saw me printing these materials and he kept on asking if we can play. Of course we did! We started using a few of these materials and will share his progress in the days to come. For now, allow me to present to you our adorable and cute learning materials for the month of October.
Counting Clipcards. Vito loves this activity. Last month, we’re using pegs to mark the correct number for the count, now we’re using glass nuggets for change. You can basically do whatever your heart desires here to mark the number.
Trick or Treat Race Game. I prepared 3 racing games for the Halloween Math Preschool Unit and this is just one of them. The boys love it because we need to use counters! Though the game is to gather as much sweets as possible, we’re using pumpkin counters instead.
Pumpkin Bag Counting Mats. This is to prepare Vito for our Trick or Trick at the end of the month. Still a counting activity, you need to place the correct number of sweets/candies or counters in the mat to match the number indicated. Another version of this is the spiderweb mat.
Halloween Number Cards. I love our number cards! They’re so cute! We use it to count and order numbers from 1 to 5. I bought some of this bouncing eyeballs as our counter.
Grid Games. In introduced the grid game last week to Vito and he enjoyed the dice as usual, and the placement of the glass nuggets. A perfect activity for 1:1 correspondence and number recognition.
Halloween Themed Cards and Counters. Vito think that the cards are hilarious! I have three sets of these in the printable pack and I chose to use the eyeball cards so we can make use of our googly eyes which I bought years ago and never used. And the numbers are so adorable too! I bet your kids will enjoy counting with this one!
The pack also includes an owl color matching , number words plus shape sorting activity.
