For Vito, I made him these cards basically for a simple matching activity. These are actually nomenclature cards, but I made him use the control cards with the beads. During the presentation, I told Vito that the beads represent numbers. I presented the beads from one to ten, he listens but keeps on identifying the colors as I go along.
He worked on his own after I showed him the work. At first, he matched the beads by colors and surprisingly, he later on counted the beads.

For Mavi, it’s a multiplication work. Here he’s reviewing the multiplication table from 1 to 6. We are using the arrow labels from here.
Mavi is completing the Multiplication Booklet 3, which you can download for free from here.
They are working side by side and I was there mostly for supervising Vito. It’s great when Vito is starting to be more “cooperative” rather than being playful when given an activity. I can start giving them work on the same areas of learning but different levels of activities.
