I finally had the time to put this up and share it with you. It’s a number representation game we played weeks ago while working on our letter S and it’s about feeding the snake. Vito loves this activity and enjoyed the idea of feeding the snake with the matching count or number representation.
This a very simple game of counting and sorting out the different number counts and their number symbols. Basically, the child will count the different number presentations (tally finger, cubes, dice) and then sort them or match them to the correct number symbols.
The “snake” will only eat the food that matches it’s number, thus the child needs to be able to sort out the count properly (with parent’s assistance).
Once the child has laid out the “food”, it is time to feed the snake!! Nyum nyum nyum!
My son had a great time with this game. We played it for days, until we worked on our new theme: the ocean! More about this in my next post, so stay tuned!
Hope you try this one! Now, head over to the shop (or click here) and download your copy. Enjoy!
