As you all know, kids are so curious about their bodies, and more often than not, they love discovering how their body work. Yes we do a lot of reading, but it is so hard to explain how the body or a certain organ works by just looking at the pictures. I was lucky to have these anatomy models and they were all on sale when I purchased them 4 years ago. These anatomy model puzzles are perfect learning tools for kids. Each model is detailed and can easily be taken apart and reassembled. When my eldest was about 7 years old, we started exploring these materials, defined some basic parts and discussed their functions.
I am using the pipe cleaners to show him how the blood flows or enters the heart.
This one is the human brain. This is actually one of their favorites!
The dental puzzle is even more accurate! It comes with 2 dental models, for adult and kids (temporary teeth formation).
If you are interested, you can find similar anatomy models in the links below:
These printables that we have in the shop are perfect learning materials to go along with our models. We use them often with the definition cards which I assembled into a booklet and are very handy whenever we want to learn about the functions of certain parts of the body. You can get these printables from the shop or follow the links below.

As for my youngest (4 years old), he also participates in some of these activities but mostly exploration and just playing along. He asks me to identify some parts and also asks about their functions but I didn’t give him any formal activities for the anatomy models yet.
Activities suited for Vito includes the human body and internal organs and we’re using a human anatomy model to explore the internal organs and how the body works. We are also using the Beleduc wooden puzzle and Janod magnetic puzzle whenever he wants to learn about his body.
Again, we have the right printable materials for these learning “toys”. You can follow the links below or check our shop for more.
