Counting Eyeballs
I found these silly glow-in-the-dark rubber eyeballs in Amazon, and the boys love using them in decorating their playdough. So I decided to use them as manipulatives in our homeschool this October. The concept is similar to our Fall Leaves and Apple Tree counting activities. I added playdough in the counting mats so our eyeballs won't roll.Googly eyes will also do if these balls aren't available in your area! Or if you are saving printer ink, a black and white version is included, and use any manipulatives available.
Bubbles in the Cauldron
If your kids are into playdough, this bubbles counting activity is for them. We rolled tiny green playdough as our "bubbles" and used them as counters for our mats. These playdough mats are fantastic for spicing up counting activities for kids and help them develop fine motor skills. The different themes and designs encourage kids to "design" their own counting mats, thus reinforcing their creativity.
This counting mat is part of the a MONEY SAVER BUNDLE.
