Featuring our activities and learning materials for March. Rotation of activities would usually take about 3-4 weeks now because Vito would mostly be spending time outdoors since the weather is starting to get warmer. SPRING ACTIVITIES: BLUE SERIES READING

We're learning about consonant blends this month and the activities I prepared are mostly Montessori-inspired. We will be learning about the R, L, and S consonant blends (Consonant Blends with Ending Digraphs BUNDLE) then we'll move on to the ending digraphs. SPRING ACTIVITIES: ADDITION SNAKE GAME

This is Vito's current favorite math activity. We are using the Montessori Elementary Negative Snake Game material. But we are only using the set needed for the addition snake game. We will be sharing a brief tutorial of this learning material soon.

SPRING ACTIVITIES: ADDITION CHART AND CLIPCARDS

Another addition activity that Vito loves. This is a Montessori Addition Chart that I used with Mavi years ago and I'm printing it again for Vito. In my Instagram account you'll find that he used this chart with our FREE ADDITION BOOKLETS. For our science study, we are exploring frogs! So here you'll find my post about the parts of a frog (Parts of a Frog Learning Materials for Kids) and the details on how we learned about the life cycle of a frog (Life Cycle of a Frog Learning Activities).

SPRING ACTIVITIES: LEARNING ABOUT THE ANIMAL KINGDOM

In line with our frog study, Vito is also learning for the very first time about the animal kingdom. This is just an introduction so he'll have an idea on what other living creatures fall under the animal kingdom (to differentiate bacteria as he is obsessed with learning about bacteria). We used our Animal Kingdom 3 Part Cards and Charts learning material for this activity.

SPRING ACTIVITIES: VERTEBRATES CLASSIFICATION

Speaking of Animal Kingdom, we are also touching on the vertebrates as we differentiate frogs from other classes of animals.

The learning materials that we used for this subject are the Montessori Vertebrate Characteristics Learning Pack and the Montessori Vertebrate Sorting Activity Cards.
