No.  This learning material can be used on its own, but an animal figure to go along with this pack is helpful and beneficial to the child.

1.  ANIMALS IN THIS PACK ARE THOSE THAT ARE IN THE TOOB ONLY
This learning pack only contains the following animals (those in the toob): spider, scorpion, ladybug, grasshopper, praying mantis, centipede, red butterfly, blue butterfly, honeybee, housefly, dragonfly, cockroach and ant.

2.  SOME ARE NOT AN EXACT REPLICA
I tried my best to look for a real picture to match the animal figure provided by Safari Toob, but please understand that there are also circumstances wherein I can’t find an exact replica (the same color, look etc.).

3. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND READING BOOKS
These are just extension activities.  It is still recommended that you accompany the Insect Study Unit with books and other reading materials.
