You all know that I love Instagram! Aside from Pinterest, this is one of the best places to look for inspirations for home and school educational activities. Recently, I have the courage to ask my followers to join my occasional roundup posts based on the themes that we have for "home" school. I'm so happy that there tons who participated and with that, I'm happy to share 9 inspiration activities amazing accounts. Be sure to check their websites and Instagram account for more inspirations!
1. Ladybug Shelf. This is such a beautiful set-up and presentation for a Ladybug Unit. Obviously, my favourite part here is the 1:1 placement of activities in each cube and that huge wooden ladybug on top of the shelf is so eye catching! Follow LittleMontessoriHouse for more inspirational ideas on kids' activities!
2. Balloon for Anatomy of an Ant. This is genius! Of course, if we use playdough or nature objects to form the anatomy of animals, why not balloons? Kids love balloons and this would definitely keep them engage in learning and play. Thank you Playfull.SG for sharing with us a brilliant idea! Please take time to visit her IG account.
3. Nature's Objects for Anatomy of an Ant. Another option for forming anatomy of animals is by the use of natures' objects (or loose parts). As I always say, use whatevers' available! TheSilvanReverie has TONS of amazing ideas on themed activities!
4. Butterfly Symmetry Art. We love making this! We have work on this years ago and I love how the kids get so excited when they open the butterfly cut-out and discover the beautiful symmetrical formations of colors! This work from BlackGoldfish and she loves to share her "home" learning activities with her girls in her account.
5. Insect Sensory Tray. MontessorifromtheHeart is the owner of this account and she has gazillions of Montessori-inspired activities. I love this sensory tray as it reminds me of how much little boy used to love sensory bins! Recently, she shared this amazing BEEHIVE COUNTING SENSORY TRAY activity which you have to check as well. Tanya creates amazing sensory trays that you can "copy" and play it with your kids.

7. Counting Bees in Small Word Play. Beautiful setup, and such a brilliant idea of integrating counting activities in small world play from ThisFrenchMom! I love the use of some natural materials in this activity and those honeybee erasers are the cutest!
