MONTESSORI PUSH BALL
This is a pounding/hammering toy for babies and currently a favourite of Max. In a nutshell, the baby will push the ball, and it will roll out of the box. This activity builds hand and arm strength, assist hand-eye coordination, understanding of object permanence and concentration.
I placed this toy in a tray, by the way, to prevent the ball from rolling under the sofa. Here's a link for the Montessori Permanence Push Ball material.
CYLINDER DRUM ROLL
This has been my favourite since he was 6 months old. It is both sensorial (seeing his face in the mirror) and, at the same time, perfect for motor skills. You will find a similar item here.
GRIMMS 6-PIECE RAINBOW STACKER
Lately, this 6-piece Grimm's Stacking Rainbow is his go-to toy on the shelf. He loves flipping the pieces and cause them to rock.
JACK IN THE BOX
We also use this and post lots of videos on our Instagram. You can get a similar classic Jack in the Box from here.
WOODEN RATTLES
This was from our Discovery Basket collection, and you can read about it here.PYRAMID RING STACKER
Vito picked this up for Max in the shop. Max loves taking the rings out but still doesn't know how to put them in the stacker. He loves the ring rattle below (orange colour).
EDUSHAPE SENSORY BALLS
These sensory balls are worth it! They are being used not just by Max but the bigger boys too! These sensory balls are for kids of all ages.PERMANENCE BOX
The Object Permanence was introduced to Max just before he turned 9 months old. It took a few days before he grasped the concept, put the ball in the hole, and waited for it to come out of the box.
You will find the rest of our recommended learning materials, books and other items in our AMAZON SHOP HERE.
Now let's see what materials he'll enjoy in his 10months!
