Just in time for Max’s 9 month birthday, our Sawdust & Rainbow Wee’Un Triangle arrived. It is gorgeous!! I finally got one for Max as he has been attempting to stand, but we don’t have a pull-up bar at home.
To be honest, I was a little bit hesitant to purchase a Pikler. I mean, common, it's not cheap! I told myself that once Max starts to show signs that he's ready to walk, we'll just go to the playground and do our practice there. But with COVID and children flocking into our estate's playground, I knew it wouldn't be safe for us. So I gave in and splurge on this one because I knew we NEEDED a climbing frame.
"The Wee’un is a folding indoor climbing frame inspired by Emmi Pikler. It is perfect for your little ones to climb, but it is not limited to just climbing, Its also a den, a tunnel, a seat, baby gym and so much more."
Our climbing frame is made of wood.
When is the best time to buy the Pikler?
Roughly around 7 or 8 months when the baby starts to crawl.
When not in use, how do you store it?
Our Pikler is foldable, and I just place it on an empty wall beside the door.
Why we love our Sawdust & Rainbow Pikler?
- It BEAUTIFUL! I mean, who can’t resist the rainbow colors?
- So easy to assemble. Basically a no brainer.
- This is foldable, so it is easy to store, perfect for small spaces.
- Sturdy. It can hold up to 50kg weight.
- We can also bring this outside! I can't wait to try it in our backyard this summer!
