Sharing Max's learning activities and toys at 11 months. As usual, it's a hit or miss, so I will be indicating which material is a hit for Max and the materials which are totally ignored.
Baby Xylophone. Shakers/Rattles.
We love our xylophone and shakers! Read about it here and how we use it to make music.
Ball Tracker.
This Montessori ball tracker is my favourite!Grimms Stacking Boxes
Saw this on Instagram, and I know we have to try it. We used these Grimm's stacker into drums, and Max had a blast!
Ring on a Vertical.
We tried this activity, putting the ring in the vertical bar, but his interest in this material didn't last long.
Posting Balls.
This is a favourite of Max too. He loves putting the balls in the canister.
Brio Push Cart Walker.
We love this Brio Pushcart! It is perfect for small European spaces; it is so easy to assemble and store.Object Permanence with Drawer
We will keep practising using this second level of object permanence. The main goal here is that he should be able to pull the drawer without removing it from the box and push it back again. Right now, to get the ball, Max pulls the drawer entirely and can't put it back again.
SoftBooks.
I have this for a long time, but both of my older boys didn't appreciate this. On the other hand, Max enjoys using this, exploring the different textures of the soft books.
Peg Puzzle
Introduced this single shaped puzzle (circle first) as Max's first step in learning puzzles. I will talk more about this soon!
Can't believe we're heading on his 12th month! He's been learning and exploring a lot of this now, and I can't wait for what activities will be a hit or miss in the next month's post. Stay tuned!
