Montessori Friendly Puzzlea - Doron Layeled

Have you heard of Doron Layeled puzzles?  It is the only puzzle I came across that uses real pictures of animals and objects that are familiar to toddlers, and the size of the pegs/handles are just perfect for little hands!  Now let me show you why this is our absolute favourite at home.

Giant Knob Puzzles

These are perfect for young toddlers (1yrs-3yrs).  It has the following features:

• showcase realistic and detailed photography across a number of themes that are both relevant and interesting for young children.
• handy wooden pegs in large and giant sizes respectively, making these easy for small hands to manipulate.

These giant puzzles are a bit pricey compared to their ordinary puzzles though, but totally worth it!  

I got Max the farm, the wild animals and fruits.

Large Wooden Peg Puzzles

Unlike the Giant Puzzles that are rectangular in shape and linear, these puzzles are of the standard size and are perfect for older toddlers.  It has smaller knobs and puzzle pieces but just the perfect size of older kids. Features are:

• High quality 5-7 pieces wooden puzzle
• Features real-life imagery of everyday objects and favourite animals
• Chunky pieces and extra-large pegs for easier grip
• perfect for 2years and older

We got Max the wild animals, pets and fruits.
