I'm so happy to share with you our Arctic and Antarctic Unit. This pack has been recently updated and I will show how we use these learning pack at home.
VOCABULARY. We use these materials to learn about the names animals living in the two polar regions. You can choose to use the Montessori 3 part cards, word cards or the posters (display it in your wall) to introduce the names. To make it more appealing, I use animal figures to go along with our activities.
SPELLING. This is suited for older kids learning how to write and spell. You can use dry erase markers or magnetic letters to form the words.
GEOGRAPHY. Use these printables to show the kids where the locations of the Arctic Region and Antarctica. We also got the kids this maps coloring book for more extension activities.
ANIMALS. What animals live in the Arctic? What animals live in Antarctica?
