Max is 21 months old, and since St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner, I decided to assemble a green-orange theme for Max to explore in the coming days. Without further ado, here are the 9 activity trays for my young toddler for St. Patrick's Day.

Objectives: Essential in practicing the small muscles in hand. Practiced by younger children to develop skills essential in feeding.Playdough and Shamrock
Green and Orange Paints
Materials: Finger Paint (Toddler) and Toddler Paintbrush
Objectives: Develop fine motor skills, encourage the child to use his arms, hands, wrist and pincer grasp to paint on a paper or easel.
Feeding the Leprechaun
Materials: St. Patrick Gold Coins and Pluffle
Objectives: Develop hand-eye coordination, concentration and motor skills.
Dot Markers
Materials: Do a dot Markers
Objectives: Hand-eye coordination, color recognition and practice of hand muscles.
Sensory Play
Materials: Lentils, Ulanik cups, Bukarashka spoon
Objectives: Sensorial play
Clothes Pin
Materials: Magnetic Ref Clip, Maple and Lark Bitsy baskets
Objectives: Practice pincer grasp, a skill essential in feeding, picking up small objects, writing, drawing, scissors and more.
Lacing
Materials: Melissa and Doug Lacing Set
Objective: To develop the skills of using both hands in a controlled and organized manner. Having an excellent bilateral coordination will allow both sides of the brain to work.
Sorting Green and Orange Buttons
Materials: Colorino, Maple&Lark Bitsy Basket
Objective: Associating colors and enhancing the skill of color recognition.
