Apologies for not being able to update that much here in my blog. If you've been missing us, I am very active on my Instagram account, and you will see videos of Max there too. But I always find blogging the best option for sharing activities as it is easier to create a blog post and put all the details of the activities and links to the materials used.
Anyway, I'm doing a toy rotation this week. These activity trays have been on our shelf since the end of August. so obviously, I'm not doing a weekly toy rotation because I wanted Max to exhaust the use of materials before changing into a new set of themes.
- Sorting and spooning autumn-coloured balls into bowls. This material is from a Russian seller on Etsy.
- Mushroom Peg Activity. I got this from Amazon
- Complete the autumn picture puzzle. This is a DIY material and will be available soon in the shop.
- Making leaf prints and matching leaf tiles. We rub our crayons on a piece of paper using this leaf prints. You can get this from here.
- Leaves wooden puzzle. Bought this from Amazon two years ago.
- Montessori sensorial colour grading peg work. Lovely material for visual discrimination. I got this from a local Montessori shop.
- Painting using autumn stencils. Max didn't really appreciate this activity (maybe too young for this?), but the result was really beautiful! Will try to do this again next year. The stencils are from Amazon.
- Presentation and matching of forest animals. The cards are DIY and all animals are from Schleich.
