I have finally updated my European Foods learning set, first published around 2013. My first publication is limited to 15 foods, with just the Montessori 3-part cards and information cards. Now I featured more foods and added activity sheets for older kids!
This material is a perfect add-on to your Europe continent study. Traditional foods are always linked to customs, indigenous cultures, and territory, so this is an interesting subject for kids when doing social studies.
WHAT YOU WILL GET:
20 Sets of Montessori 3-Part Cards and Information Cards
As I mentioned, I featured 20 European foods in this set. For more details about the foods included here, please click here.
PRESENTATION CARDS
I always add big presentation cards to my materials, which are useful in a classroom setup. I was once invited to talk about our homeland to my son's Montessori class, and the presentation cards which I made were so helpful in showing large pictures to a group of kids in a classroom.
I didn't include recipes on my food printables because they usually vary, and it's tough to tell what's the "official traditional recipe" for a particular food. I'll leave it to students to do this for their research, or if they have Italian parents or friends, share their recipe for a particular food (this would be interesting!)
PLEASE NOTE:
This packet is included in EUROPE IN A NUTSHELL. If you own the EUROPE IN A NUTSHELL, please don't purchase this material.
