This learning pack was a great help when introducing the human body systems to my now fourth-grade boy. I'm sharing some of the highlights of our activities and previews of the contents of this learning pack that is perfect for early learners and upper elementary students.
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
- Montessori 3-part cards
- definition cards that can be assembled into booklets
- A4-sized posters with and without labels for display and presentation
- coloring and activity pages
- the sorting activities
USING MONTESSORI 3-PART CARDS
Using 3 part cards is perfect for introducing this concept and for young learners. I attached HOW TO USE 3-PART CARDS in the learning pack for more details.
I use the definition booklet during presentation. This allows me to discuss what the picture on each card is all about.
Then for indepent work, son will match the cards to the of the picture/label and control cards.
SPELLING and RESEARCH BOOKLET
These sheets are for extension work, coloring, labeling, and research; kids will love assembling their Human Body Booklets!
These spelling strips are helpful to practice repetitive spelling work for the children.
POSTERS and COLORING PAGES
These are perfect for classroom displays or presentations. I added a version with a label and a blank title in case you intend to give this to your students as an extension activity.
SORTING ACTIVITY
This is my favorite and a bit advanced for kids, but a challenge would be good. LOL. My boy loved this; it made him think and delve into how each organ works.
