I am sharing my activity trays for Max (40 months old) in observance of Fire Safety and Prevention Week.
DO'S AND DON'T
It is a great activity when learning about fire safety and prevention. Here, we discuss the do's and don'ts in preventing a fire.
COUNTING CLIPCARDS
Fun counting activity using clipcards. Max loves to count and enjoys identifying objects on these cards.
DOT BEGINNING LETTERS
Sticker or dot marker activity for kids!
TRACING LINES
Since we are not using markers to write, I use these as our guide for our sand tray. Max loves to copy the lines in the tray.
VISUAL DISCRIMINATION: SHADOWS
Fun activity identifying the shadow of the object.
HYDRANT COLOR MATCH
Sorting Grapat lose parts using colored hydrants.
MAKING SHAPES
Max and I worked on these, and he had fun! It was his first time using wax sticks, so he found it icky initially, but he got used to it and enjoyed making the shapes.
UPPER AND LOWERCASE PUZZLE
A simple matching activity of upper and lowercase letters.
PARTS OF A FIRETRUCK
My boy has loved firetrucks since birth! So he was over the moon when he learned he was working on this firetruck matching activity. He loved learning what's in the firetruck, what firefighters used to put out fires, and more!
