I recently upgraded the setup of my Montessori nomenclature flags. It has been a decade since I created my first set, and I felt it was time for a glow-up. Below are the new features added to our Montessori Flags of Africa.
MONTESSORI 3-PART CARDS
These are the standard nomenclature cards used to present and learn about the different flags of different countries in Africa. My pack includes the flags of 49 various countries, and you can choose to have an optional Montessori green border or no border at all, depending on your preference.
MONTESSORI FLAGS WITH A MAP
Previously, I created this for personal use, but due to popular demand, I included it in my shop with a larger size due to the addition of a locator map.
FLAG INFORMATION CARDS
As a parent, my children often asked me about the flags of different countries. They would inquire about the colors and symbols on each flag and their significance. To help them understand better, I created information cards that detail the meaning of each flag's colors and insignia. These cards are useful for parents and teachers to provide additional information to students and are also perfect for older students to explore the symbolism of flags independently.
COUNTRY INFORMATION CARDS
Our information cards are an excellent resource for learning basic information about countries in Africa. They provide answers to questions such as: What is the capital city? What is the population? How big is the country? What languages are spoken? What is the geography of the place? By using our information cards, children can gain a deeper understanding of a country and its characteristics rather than just memorizing the appearance of its flag.
BLACKLINE MASTERS
BONUS: PIN FLAGS
As part of our pack, I have included pin flags that require assembly. You can use either cocktail picks or sewing pins to assemble them. Please note that the MAP is not included in this product, it is only available as part of our AFRICA IN NUTSHELL bundle. Let me know if you have any further questions.
