Bible Stories Story Sequencing and Activity Sets

If you have been a follower of my blog for a long time, you know that we do lots of Bible stories activities during Lent. I posted the links below of our past Bible activities in observance of Lent. This year, since we've been doing the Story of Easter and Death of Christ for years, I decided to explore other favourite stories of mine as a child with the kids. The Story of Christmas - Sequencing Activity

Earlier today, Vito and I spent a delightful time creating our Nativity Sequencing Story to celebrate Advent. In the past few days, we have been reading various books on the Christmas story, and today, we worked on some extension activities to practice some skills that I will mention below.

We love telling and hearing Bible stories at home!  Especially in this season of Lent and as preparation for the upcoming Easter celebration.

Days of the Creation for Preschoolers

In our home, we would read Bible stories and relived some beautiful stories during the Lenten season.  We are approaching it in a spiritual manner (for faith formation) rather than doing lots of egg activities.  Mavi and I have been talking about the Exodus the other day, while Vito and I did the Days of Creation.  This post shares our little project in learning about the great story of God’s creation of the world.   I’m also sharing our kid-friendly Bible which we are using at home.

Noah’s Ark

The boys and I are reading our favorite Bible (Story of the Bible) stories and we started with Noah’s Ark since we own the Playmobil Noah’s Ark.  I got this last year from a major toy sale in one of the shops here.  The boys love this piece of material so much!  It’s a beautiful and sturdy toy with so much educational value for big and small kids.
